Who is responsible for your information?
Brae Digital is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@braedigital.co.uk and use “Privacy request” as the subject.
Information collected
When you submit an enquiry, Brae Digital collects your name, email address, business name, the type of project you are considering, your approximate budget and timeframe, and anything you include in your message.
Basic technical records may also be processed by the hosting provider for security, reliability and fraud prevention. The website does not currently use advertising or behavioural analytics.
Why it is used
Your information is used to read and respond to your enquiry, understand what services you may need, prepare a proposal if requested, keep a record of business discussions, and protect the website from misuse.
The lawful bases are taking steps at your request before entering a contract and Brae Digital’s legitimate interests in managing genuine enquiries and maintaining secure business records. Your enquiry details are not used for unrelated marketing.
Storage and sharing
Enquiries are stored in secured website infrastructure. Information is shared only with service providers needed to host, secure or operate the website, or where disclosure is required by law. It is not sold.
Some infrastructure providers may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, appropriate contractual and legal safeguards are relied upon.
How long it is kept
Unsuccessful or exploratory enquiries are normally retained for up to 24 months so previous conversations can be understood if you return. Information connected with a client project may be retained for longer where needed for contractual, accounting or legal records. Data is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Brae Digital will normally respond to a rights request within one month.
Cookies
The website does not currently set non-essential analytics or advertising cookies. Essential security or load-balancing technologies may be used by the hosting platform to deliver the service. If non-essential analytics are added later, this notice and the consent choices will be updated first.
Updates
This notice will be reviewed as the business and website develop. The date shown on this page indicates the latest revision.
